This website download is a separate direct-distribution build from the Mac App Store edition. It contains no StoreKit purchase flow or subscription screen: every feature is available after the one-time website purchase.
Apple notarized this exact disk image after an automated malware check. It is signed with the publisher's Developer ID and its notarization ticket is stapled to the download, so Gatekeeper can verify it even when your Mac is offline.

Vantage gives the work one native Mac workspace. Add each brand, paste the homepage hero, tagline, product blurbs or other messaging you have already collected, and mark your own brand as the reference point. URLs remain reference fields; the app does not crawl them or pretend that a saved link is current evidence.
The analysis engine runs locally and does not need a model. It extracts and compares themes across every usable profile, identifies language shared by multiple competitors, highlights terms that are distinctive to one brand and calculates pairwise messaging similarity. Against the focus brand, Vantage organizes the result into gaps to close, differentiators to amplify and contested ground where everyone sounds alike.
Choose a rival and the same evidence becomes a head-to-head battlecard: their emphasized strengths, your unclaimed openings, common ground and a similarity score. The Competitive Briefing combines profiles, shared themes, the focus-brand gap analysis and the selected battlecard into readable Markdown that can be selected or copied for a strategy document, campaign brief or sales-enablement handoff.
AI remains optional. Deterministic summaries are always available; if you want a richer strategy narrative, Vantage can use Apple Intelligence on-device, Ollama or LM Studio locally, or a supported cloud model through an API key you provide and the app stores in the macOS Keychain. The website Direct edition is separately Developer ID-signed and Apple-notarized, with unlimited competitors and the full briefing permanently unlocked after one purchase and no StoreKit subscription flow.
Paste the messaging you chose to analyze and keep source URLs as references, so the result is tied to evidence you can inspect instead of an opaque crawler.
See shared themes, each brand's distinctive language, profile keywords and pairwise similarity across the full field.
Separate rival themes you do not claim, language only your brand owns and contested territory everyone is using.
Compare your brand with one rival through their strengths, your openings, shared ground and a plain similarity percentage.
Bring profiles, shared themes, gaps and the selected battlecard together in a readable Markdown report ready to paste into the next working document.
Keep deterministic analysis, use Apple Intelligence on-device, connect Ollama or LM Studio locally, or deliberately choose a cloud provider with your own Keychain-stored key.
Vantage analyzes the messaging you paste; it does not scrape websites, verify claims, measure market share, monitor changes, track search visibility or replace customer research. Similarity and gap results describe the supplied language, not an objective verdict on market position. In this release, competitor edits live in the current app session rather than a durable project library, so copy the competitive briefing before quitting. Deterministic analysis stays on the Mac; choosing a cloud AI provider sends the relevant prompt inputs directly to that provider under its terms.

No. You add each competitor and paste the messaging you want analyzed. URL fields are references only. Vantage does not crawl websites, fetch their copy or claim to monitor competitors over time.
No. Theme extraction, similarity, gap analysis, battlecards and the competitive briefing all work through Vantage's deterministic local engine. AI only enriches the short strategy narratives when you choose to connect a provider.
Local analysis does not send it to an IndepApps service. Apple Intelligence runs on-device where available, and Ollama or LM Studio use the local endpoint you configure. If you deliberately choose a cloud provider, the relevant analysis inputs go directly to that provider under its terms; your API key is stored in the macOS Keychain.
The full Competitive Briefing is readable Markdown covering profiles, shared themes, positioning gaps and the selected battlecard. You can select it or use Copy report to paste it into a strategy, campaign or sales-enablement document.
