A little help, right where you need it.

For help with an application published by IndepApps, email support@macossoftware.com. Most questions are answered below — check there first and you may not need to wait for a reply.

Downloads and installation

macOS says the app is damaged or can't be opened on first launch

A first-open confirmation is different from a damaged-app or malware warning. Do not disable Gatekeeper or remove security protections to force an app to run. Download again from your purchase link, confirm the product's macOS and processor requirements, and read the exact warning. If it persists, send the app version and warning text to support. Read the installation and signing guide and Apple's explanation of Mac security warnings.

Can I get a refund?

Digital downloads are final once the single-use link is used — there is no way to take a download back. If the app genuinely does not run on your Mac, email us and we will make it right.

My download link is missing, expired or interrupted

Check the checkout confirmation and your purchase email, including spam. For an interrupted transfer, retry the original link. If it reports expired or already used, email support@macossoftware.com from the checkout address with the app name, receipt reference and exact error so we can reissue the link. Do not buy again to solve a download error. Keep signed download links private.

How do I install the Windows edition of Slipstream?

One customer ZIP includes both the Mac and Windows installers. Extract it on each computer and follow the included platform instructions. Compare the ZIP filename and checksum with the published package record. The Mac and Windows version numbers can differ. Read the Windows installation and signing guide, then use the USB-C connection guide for pairing and route checks. Keep Windows protections enabled if an unsigned-package prompt appears; ask support about the exact warning if unsure.

Which OS version and processor do I need?

Requirements vary by app and edition. Slipstream supports macOS 13+ on Apple silicon or Intel and Windows 10/11 on x64 or ARM64; check Windows Settings → System → About for System type. For a Mac app, open About This Mac to check your macOS version and whether your processor is Intel or Apple silicon, then match the product page's Direct release record. For example, Recast, Sift, Gravity and Lectern require macOS 14 or later; MacManager and Spider Notes require macOS 26 or later. MultiAgentOS requires macOS 12 or later and Apple silicon. Find your product and its exact requirements before buying.

What to include

Privacy when requesting support

Do not email confidential source files, recordings, identity documents, account credentials, payment-card data, or API keys. Support messages are used only to diagnose the request, reply, and improve the relevant product. See the privacy policy.

Purchases and refunds

Stripe processes the one-time software purchases made on this site. Optional external AI providers may charge separately. For a payment or download-link issue, or for a product defect or feature question, contact the publisher above.

Response time

As a solo publisher, the normal target is a reply within five business days. Complex compatibility or data-recovery questions may take longer.

What does the download expiry mean?

Each delivery email displays the exact expiry timestamp for its single-use links. A saved installer does not stop working simply because the download link expires. Keep your receipt and installer. If a link is expired or already used, email support from your checkout address with the receipt reference and app name; do not repurchase to fix the link.

For questions about device allowance, future updates or a particular workflow, ask before buying and consult the software terms. The product page describes the current Direct release; it does not promise every future release or optional external service.
