One structured campaign brief
Set the product, angle, audience, benefits and tone once, then choose any combination of Meta, Google and LinkedIn.
Move from one brief to a reviewable, nine-variant ad set without losing the limits or the source facts.
A silent screen tour of the shipping Refract app: All platform variants within limits; Direct report reflects live edits.

This website download is a separate direct-distribution build from the Mac App Store edition. It contains no StoreKit purchase flow or subscription screen: every feature is available after the one-time website purchase.
Apple notarized this exact disk image after an automated malware check. It is signed with the publisher's Developer ID and its notarization ticket is stapled to the download, so Gatekeeper can verify it even when your Mac is offline.

Enter the product, angle, audience and concrete benefits, choose a bold, friendly, professional or playful tone, and select the destinations you need. With all three platforms selected, the same brief becomes three Meta variants, three Google variants and three LinkedIn variants, each split into headline, primary text, description and call-to-action fields.
Every variant remains editable. Refract shows the text inside a platform-shaped preview and counts each field as you type using Unicode grapheme clusters. The visible budget changes by platform and field, with near-limit and over-limit states surfaced immediately. Its 0–100 hook score is deterministic: it rewards disclosed copy signals such as useful hook words, an appropriately sized headline, a question or number, a concrete CTA and substantive primary text, while penalizing empty or over-limit fields. It is a drafting heuristic, not a forecast of clicks or conversions.
Generation always has a local deterministic path and does not require a model account. If a supported provider is available, Refract can ask Apple Intelligence, Ollama, LM Studio or a bring-your-own cloud model for enriched variants. Model output is accepted slot by slot only when all four fields exist, every field fits and numeric or risky claims are supported by the supplied brief. Otherwise that slot returns to the fitted deterministic variant instead of presenting unsupported social proof, free offers, superlatives or statistics as ready copy.
Copy a single field, a whole ad with clean paragraph spacing or the complete Markdown ad-set report. The report records the campaign summary, selected platforms, average hook score, over-limit count, every variant and every field validation. Edits made in the live workspace flow into the report. The separate website Direct edition is Developer ID-signed and Apple-notarized, permanently unlocks all-platform generation and full reports after one purchase, and contains no StoreKit subscription or in-app purchase path.
Set the product, angle, audience, benefits and tone once, then choose any combination of Meta, Google and LinkedIn.
Create headline, primary text, description and CTA fields for three distinct slots on every selected destination.
Review and change copy beside a Meta feed post, Google search ad or LinkedIn sponsored-card preview rather than in an abstract text list.
See grapheme-aware counts, remaining space and clear near-limit or over-limit states for each field as the copy changes.
Use deterministic templates with no model, or connect an optional provider; incomplete, over-limit or unsupported model slots fall back to the grounded local version.
Copy individual fields, complete variants or a Markdown report whose ad copy and validation details reflect the latest live edits.
Refract drafts and validates text; it does not create images or video, publish campaigns, connect to ad accounts, manage spend, run experiments or measure results. Its previews are representative layouts rather than exact network rendering, and platform specifications and policies can change, so confirm current requirements in Meta, Google and LinkedIn before publishing. The hook score is a copy heuristic, not a performance prediction, compliance review or factual approval. Grounding checks look for unsupported numbers and a defined set of risky phrases; they cannot prove every claim true or catch every policy issue, and all generated copy still needs human brand, factual, legal and platform review. The current workspace holds one active campaign in memory and exports by clipboard rather than providing a saved campaign library or file export. Local providers require their own running service, Apple Intelligence depends on supported Apple hardware and macOS availability, and a cloud provider receives the submitted brief through that provider under its terms.

No. Its deterministic generator creates fitted variants and validates them locally without a model, API key or Refract account. A supported model is optional enrichment, and every returned slot still faces the same completeness, grounding and character-limit checks.
The current version supports Meta, Google and LinkedIn. You can select one, two or all three; Refract creates three variants for each selected platform and applies the field budgets built into the app for that destination.
It is a disclosed 0–100 drafting heuristic based on copy features such as hook words, headline length, questions or numbers, CTA presence, primary-text substance and limit compliance. It is not trained on your ad account and does not predict reach, clicks, conversion rate or revenue.
