Review one public-page URL, paste draft text, or choose a supported local text or structured-data file up to 8 MB.

This website download is a separate direct-distribution build from the Mac App Store edition. It contains no StoreKit purchase flow or subscription screen: every feature is available after the one-time website purchase.
Apple notarized this exact disk image after an automated malware check. It is signed with the publisher's Developer ID and its notarization ticket is stapled to the download, so Gatekeeper can verify it even when your Mac is offline.

Start with a public-page URL, paste text directly, or open a local TXT, Markdown, HTML, CSV, TSV, JSON or XML file no larger than 8 MB. Pasted text and local files are processed on the Mac. A URL analysis contacts the page you enter because the app must retrieve that public response before it can inspect it.
The report separates measured signals from interpretation. It surfaces document structure, claims, source references and the boundaries of what the current run could observe, then preserves the supporting evidence beside each finding. That makes the result an inspectable editorial aid rather than a hidden score or a promise that a search system will cite the page.
Recommendations are ordered for action. IndexHalo identifies the highest-impact retrievability issue, builds a prioritised evidence plan and provides a fix kit grounded in the measured page or draft. Completed reports can be kept in a local history on the current Mac, so teams can revisit the evidence and decisions from an earlier review without maintaining an IndexHalo account.
The scope is intentionally finite. Direct analyzes one page or document per run; it does not crawl a whole site, monitor pages in the background, render unsupported PDF or DOCX files, perform OCR, or automatically purchase observations from external providers. It cannot promise indexing, rankings, citations or traffic. The website Direct edition is permanently unlocked after one purchase and has no account, subscription, paywall or card entry inside the app.
Review one public-page URL, paste draft text, or choose a supported local text or structured-data file up to 8 MB.
Inspect visible structure, claim and source signals with their supporting evidence and explicit observation boundaries.
Start with the retrievability issue the current report places first instead of working through an unranked checklist.
Turn the measured gaps into an ordered evidence action plan grounded in the source that was actually analyzed.
Keep completed reports available on the current Mac for later review without creating a cloud account.
Process pasted drafts and supported files locally; only a public-page URL needs a network request to retrieve that page.
IndexHalo is a bounded editorial evidence-readiness analyzer, not a search engine, crawler, browser-rendering service, rank tracker, traffic monitor, citation monitor, publishing platform or guarantee of discoverability. A URL run retrieves one public page; it does not crawl a whole site, follow every link, continuously monitor a property or implement the visible Full website mode. Login-protected, blocked, JavaScript-only or otherwise unavailable pages may not provide analyzable content. Local input is limited to one TXT, Markdown, HTML, CSV, TSV, JSON or XML file up to 8 MB, or pasted text; PDF, DOCX, images, scans, OCR and multi-file corpus analysis are unsupported. Pasted text and supported local files are processed locally, while URL analysis necessarily contacts the requested page. Reports describe measured structure, claim and source signals plus recommendations derived from them. They are heuristic editorial aids, not proof that a search or answer engine has indexed, ranked, trusted or cited the content. The Direct edition does not automatically buy or retrieve paid-provider observations. Saved report history belongs to the current Mac and is not a claim of account sync, collaboration, remote backup or continuous monitoring. Users remain responsible for checking important claims, sources, accessibility, legal obligations and published changes independently.

IndexHalo is for writers, publishers, SEO teams and content strategists who want a bounded evidence-readiness review of one page or draft without uploading pasted or local-file content to an account service. Yes. IndexHalo is a native Mac app and runs on macOS 13+.
It analyzes one public page, pasted text, or one local TXT, Markdown, HTML, CSV, TSV, JSON or XML file up to 8 MB. Each run is a single-source review rather than a whole-site crawl.
No. The current Direct edition analyzes a single public page per URL run. It does not crawl a site, follow every internal link, monitor changes in the background or implement the visible Full website mode.
No. Pasted text and supported local files are processed locally on the Mac. A public-page URL requires network access to retrieve the page you explicitly ask IndexHalo to analyze.
The current local-file workflow supports TXT, Markdown, HTML, CSV, TSV, JSON and XML files up to 8 MB. PDF, DOCX, images and OCR input are not supported; copy relevant text into the pasted-text workflow instead.
No. It is an editorial evidence-readiness aid based on observable structure, claim and source signals. It cannot guarantee indexing, ranking, citation, traffic or any response from a search or answer engine.
No automatic paid-provider observations are included in the Direct workflow. The report distinguishes measured local evidence from observation boundaries instead of implying access to unavailable external data.
Yes. IndexHalo Direct permanently unlocks the complete supported single-source workspace after one website purchase. It has no account, recurring subscription, in-app paywall or credit-card prompt.
